Craighill has come up with a new idea to help all the kids have bit more fun in the playground. It was a new fedge!! So here are all the photos that we took going through the process of making an environmental play piece!!
Craighill’s Football Team travelled over 100 miles to Dundee last Tuesday to take part in the SFA Soccer 7s against teams from Perth, Dundee, Inverness, Aberdeen and the Western Isles. The team were accompanied by coaches Mr Mackay and Mark Macaulay along with a stronghold of parents who provided transport and excellent support for the players.
Craighill played 8 tough and competitive games where they managed to secure 3 impressive victories. Craighill finished 5th out of 9 teams and played some incredible football throughout the tournament. The passing skills were clearly evident throughout and in the end were unlucky not to record more victories.
The players involved learned a lot from the experience and will become footballers in the future. Their behaviour and attitude was exemplary as always with Craighill providing the other teams with small emblems wishing them good luck.
Craighill Primary School played their final warm up match against Park Primary before they head down to Dundee for the SFA Soccer 7s North Finals in Dundee on Tuesday.
Craighill scored 5 second half goals to earn a comprehensive and convincing 5-1 victory. The squad were also kitted out in their new strips which have been very kindly sponsored by Metal Work UK, ITP Solutions and Duncan Weymms Ltd. We would also like to thank the butchers and parents for their donations which has helped us to raise enough money for jackets as well!
Everyone at Craighill would like to wish the footballers the very best of luck. We are all extremely proud of their achievement.
