A huge well done to Ellie, Isla, Emily, Clare, Alex, Alex, Liam and Marcus who took part in the Ross-Shire Swimming Gala in Dingwall on 11th May. Every member of the team swam amazingly well and also displayed excellent sportsmanship. The team returned to school proud winners of the Bailie Mrs Brown Trophy, a fantastic achievement for the team and for Tain Swimming Club.
Can I remind all parents and pupils that the Craighill Running Club is still on and takes place at Tuesday lunch times and after school on Wednesday from 3pm-3.45pm.
Unfortunately, numbers have began to dwindle away this term with only 4 turning up at the last session. There are a selection of races coming up at the Seaboard Centre in Balintore on the 28th of May. It would be good to get as many Craighill children racing there as possible and also have the children get some training in before hand at school.
The session is open to all Primary 4-7 pupils. Permission is required from parents when attending the after school club.
With the school also undertaking the Road to Rio challenge, this would be an excellent way of earning as many miles as possible and reaching our target of 5,800 miles!
Hope to see some new faces at Running Club for the rest of this term!
As you know we are very concerned about the safety of the children on Craighill Terrace during busy periods. Attached is a map illustrating where we feel are the safest places to park during dropping off and picking up times and places to avoid. This is a guide which should help to ensure the safety of children. craighill traffic map

They have produced an eco plan which will guide their work:
The choir participated in the Inverness Music Festival, they sang “A Whole New World” at Eden Court. This was a fantastic experience for everyone involved and they performed beautifully. Well done everyone.
A team from Primary 6 took part in the Euroquiz in Dingwall Academy on 9th March. They put a huge amount of work into learning all of the facts and figures before they went and competed very well. Well done!
