Craighill House Quiz

This afternoon 12 pupils took my part in the ‘Inter House Quiz’ which was hotly contested as the teams, consisting of Scotsburn, Morangie and Duthac, were only separated by two points.

The rounds included topics such as ‘Sport, Arts, Current Affairs and Science’ with some bonus points being scored by pupils for providing extra information in their answers. Those who were not involved sat in the audience and eagerly watched and cheered on their team mates.

The competitors were selected to represent their house as they scored highest in the ‘Class Quiz’ which was completed last week. The top pupils were selected from the Primary 4-7 classes and should be proud of their efforts. In the end Duthac emerged victorious.

A big thank you to Mrs. Gordon for organising and hosting the Quiz and to Mrs. Henderson for doing the marking.

Thank you, Primary 6.

Ragbag

Thank you to those who have been using the ragbag bin at the school entrance. Last week we received a cheque for £99.20 for the items which were recycled.

This money will go towards paying for the Primary 7 residential trip to Craggan each year. Remember the ragbag bin is there when you are next having a clear out.
